Detailed walkthrough
For this repeatable quest to be bachelor, the actor grapheme must have first completed Disobedience Has Fallen. Technical information may yet be found in the globe prior to completing this quest, only it will not be able to be turned in for rewards.
Technical information is establish in random containers all over Appalachia. When a slice of technical data is institute, the player character will receive this quest to requite it to Scribe Valdez inside Fort Atlas (only if Mother of Invention has been completed) or to store it in a secure location at Army camp Venture. This secure location is in the basement of 1 of the buildings in Camp Venture, outside the main walls. It is behind a locked (Picklock 0) door. Just look for a small, red, rectangular wall prophylactic on the left manus wall, just before the door to the storage armory. If more than one technical data is returned to the wall safe or Scribe Valdez at one time, the caps reward increases slightly to 40 from 25.

Notes
- The quest was temporarily disabled on October 9, 2020 due to some players having login issues.[one] The quest was subsequently re-enabled with Fallout 76 patch 1.five.1.26 on January 26, 2021.
- Technical data stacks, and depositing or handing it in will finish the quest and remove the whole stack from the Vault Dweller's inventory. Starting the quest again requires finding some other technical data in a container.
- Conversely, removing all technical information from the role player grapheme's inventory will fail the quest.
- The numerous desks plant in the Whitespring bunker's war machine section tin can be regularly visited for technical data. Other places with a high quantity of containers that tin hold technical information include: AMS corporate headquarters, Saccharide Grove, Watoga Loftier School, Site Alpha, Site Bravo and Site Charlie.
- Players tin deposit technical data in their stash, and turn in each piece one by ane to increase the chance of getting more rare items from the loot puddle.
